One day during the summer, Kim and I loaded up in the car and headed to Newborn to buy lots of corn to use for the Low Country Boil. In the end, we ended up with 14 dozen ears of corn. We stuffed them in the truck of my car and headed home.
As you can see, Kim got right to work. It's a good thing Grandma Oma and Granddaddy Wilbur taught us how to shuck corn when we were little. Not long after the work began, Kim took a break. Cassandra decided to get in on the action and picked up Kim's slack.
By the end of the day, all the corn was shucked and placed in the freezer in preparation for the Low Country Boil.
